BYO sewing machine and help create cozy items for the community - we'll be providing free materials and beginner friendly patterns for:

•  mittens

• neck gaiters

• dog jackets

• drawstring pouches (pattern from Craftsy - free access for library members!)

• Sewing Newbie? No problem! There will be lots of folks available to answer your questions as well as various non-sewing tasks you can help with, such as cutting fabric and assembling mending kits.

• Snacks and refreshments will be provided - take some time to chat and meet your fellow sewists!

• Materials will be provided by Broad Room's Free Art Supply Closet- they'll be popping up with a fabric swap table so come say hi and feel free to bring or take whatever fabric you'd like for DIY'ing at home :)
