8/15 Community Sew-a-Thon

Join us at Loaves & Fishes’ Delany Center in Sacramento for the next installment of our community sew-a-thons, where we turn secondhand materials into goods for our unhoused neighbors! For this event we will continue making hot weather items such as sun hats, bandanas, and cooling neck wraps.

Although some basic sewing skills are recommended, all experience levels are welcome! If you cannot BYO sewing machine, you may assist with cutting pattern pieces or assembling mending kits. Please see below for accessibility information. This event is free but space is limited so registration is required! Thank you!

Loaves and Fishes: Delany Center

Accessibility Information:

The venue for this event has a sidewalk with curb cut and several stairs with additional ADA ramp that lead to the main door. The doors are ADA accessible, and there is an ADA accessible bathroom. The parking is in a private lot with two ADA spaces available. The space has chairs, but please feel welcome to bring your own or whatever you need to feel comfortable sitting. This is not a scent free space. Please reach out to events@broadroom.org for any access questions.
