BYO Machine and help sew items for our unhoused neighbors! For this event, we’ll be making cooling neck wraps and sun hats in preparation for the hot months ahead. All materials and pattern tutorials will be provided.
Accessibility information for the space is as follows:
Wheelchair accessible entrance
Wheelchair accessible parking lot
The bathroom is a shared bathroom for the whole facility, large enough for a chair to easily maneuver.
Parking is limited on site and should be prioritized for folks with accessibility needs. It’s recommended that folks park in downtown Davis and walk over, or they can park in a nearby campus parking lot (see photos). You can pull up to unload before parking elsewhere.
The space is not scent free - there are paint and potentially other chemical smells, but it will be ventilated.
Masks are required and can be provided if needed.
