Join Maris Kaplan, creator of Found + Made, and make a complete mini quilt that can be used as a functional pot holder! You’ll learn about the various tools, techniques, and terminology used for making quilts while you practice creating various compositions using the basic half square triangle - a foundational and classic quilt design! We’ll also discuss recommendations for fabric choice and color combinations, machine vs. hand sewing, and some basic history of quilting as well. All materials provided, basic machine skills recommended.
